WHILE THE UNIVERSE GOT YOUR BACK, DO YOUR PART: A New Year Message

Happy New Year, readers! As we start again from day 1, I hope you get to decide how you want to spend your 2019, who you want to spend it with, and hopefully learn what your purpose is. I hope you will be able to love yourself as much as how you're willing to love someone else. I hope you don’t rely on fate all the time. I used to do that. Whatever happens, happens. But there’s a vast difference between relying and actually planning out how you get on with your life. 

I guess what I’m trying to say is that, I’m done waiting for the universe to figure it all out for me. I have to help myself too. I have to know what I really want, and plan how to get there. If I fail, then it's a learning experience, but if I succeed, damn, I'd be the happiest. Because I now I did what I could, and I'm happy with the process and the progress.

So to you who’s reading this, stop waiting for everything to fall into place. Because it will only fall into place if you do something about it. While the universe got your back, do your part. 

I was just lying on the bed when the thought of writing this abruptly came to mind. People believed that I am an excellent writer. No. I’m not even close. I can’t give justice to my endings, and sometimes, I can’t even make it to the ending. But I still do it, because I believe that even with the messed up message I am trying to get across, someone out there  still needs to read what I have to write.

Something unexpected will always happen in your life, someone will suddenly knock on your door and the moment you open it, they're going to change your life in a way you never expected, and you have to make room for that.

You have to decide what you want, you just have to look out for the things you never planned. At least by that, you know you’re getting somewhere. You have a guide. You won't be lost. We've been lost too much in 2018, so I hope this year, we find all the missing pieces of ourselves.

And it will always start when you decide. It will always be your choice.
