The Sunday Series//EP.02

ft. Stranger Things & Watercolor Painting

Okay, let's talk about Season 1 because I haven't watch Season 2 yet. Gosh!!! I can actually finish it in one day (i slept around 3:30AM the first night), but I was trying to savor the freaking show that I decided to break it in half. So i finished the show the next day, crying, wrapped up in these heart breaking emotions.

I'm sure though, that Eleven is still alive. But when she vanished and Mike is crying, and i'm also crying. And then I was sad for Will. It gives me the creep when on the last scene, where he was kind of throwing up on the sink, and there was a bit of a flicker from The Upside Down. I was literally shouting, "IT'S CHRISTMAS FOR WILL'S SAKE. DAMN IT!" Hahaha.

Also, let's talk about the amazing consistency of colors! I know for a fact (from a film class back in college) that everything you see in one frame, or in one scene have meanings. They were seriously consistent with the mustard yellow color! It was one of the most famous colors back in the 80s or 70s (that I read from a color guide book of the 80s/70s, i forgot). I need to pause some of the scenes because the frames are amazing, the cinematography is spectacular! *claps like a retarded seal*

I like the characters also, they're so distinct from each other. Like Will, he seems to be quiet, and honest. He seems to be an introvert, also. Then there's Dustin, the chatty guy full of sarcasm. Hahaha he's so cute when he talks!! And Lucas, who thinks negative most of the time. Actually, skeptic might be a better term. Then there's Mike, the kind and not very chatty (like Dustin). Which is funny for me, because I first saw Fin Wolfhard in action from the movie, "IT". We all know how seriously talkative and sarcastic he was he can't even shut up when he was in that room full of clowns. HAHAHA.

So there, i'mma get my supply of Stranger Things Season 2 from my special alien later! *u*

When I finished the show, I went to work on my table to practice watercolor painting. So here are my recent pieces so far, and scroll down through, you'll see some of the inspirations i keep from Pinterest!

I have it for digital print today, so i'll share it on my next blog post. I'll do greeting cards, and maybe put it on small badges to sell. If there's a particular artwork you want, you can tell me. If you have ideas, you can tell me also, i might do it!

And here are the prompts! Credits to the beautiful owners. ♥

I might do this first. So kawaii~

So that's all for today! I wish I can attend the Guibo Mi Yan, a pop up art fair in Tugawe Cove, Robinsons Place Naga so I can meet the different amazing and talented local artists from Bicol.

As usual, share your thoughts with me! 😍

XOXO,
Sam
